Everglades Reservoir Project (EAA Reservoir)

Congressionally authorized reservoir south of Lake Okeechobee to reduce toxic algae discharges into Florida estuaries. U.S. Sugar opposed initial land purchase proposals that would have acquired sugar farmland in the Everglades Agricultural Area.
