Lobbying data from Senate LDA filings. Cost estimates are parsed from Federal Register rule abstracts and represent the figures cited by the issuing agency, not independent calculations. "Economically significant" means the rule has an estimated annual effect on the economy of $100 million or more, as designated under Executive Order 12866. Lobbying dollar amounts are the total reported by each client across all their LDA filings, not the amount spent specifically on the listed regulation.
