“Tracked direct PAC giving” sums contributions of $5,000 or less per item from PACs that are not candidate committees, dated in the candidate's election cycle, as ingested by QPQ from FEC filings. Larger items (joint fundraising transfers, a committee's own unitemized receipts, refunds) are excluded. “IE support” and “IE oppose” are FEC Schedule E independent expenditures for and against the candidate. That money never reached the candidate's committee. The three measures are reported separately and never added together. “FEC total raised” is the FEC candidate financial summary for the cycle and is shown only where that summary is the row's source. Win/loss is shown only where an election result source is attached to the row. Votes listed are congress.gov roll calls dated after the general election date. Earlier votes are counted but not listed. Timing is reported as timing. The contributions shown are publicly disclosed, no violation of law is alleged, and the data establishes no causal link between any contribution and any vote.
