Commemorative Plaques and Urns
introducedThe Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is amending its regulations to implement new statutory authority to furnish commemorative plaques and urns for certain veterans whose cremated remains are not interred. This action is necessary to administer the new benefits, which were authorized by the "Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020" (the Act).
