SB 1047 (Sen. McMorrow; co-sponsors include Sens. McCann and Hertel), introduced June 18, 2026 and referred to Senate Energy and Environment; HB 6135 (Rep. Joey Andrews), introduced June 25, 2026, tie-barred to HB 6137-6142 and referred to House Government Operations. Earlier Senate bills SB 761-763 (Dec 18, 2025) would cap data center water use, require MPSC energy and water reports and bar infrastructure costs from residential rates. None had a committee vote as of October 2026.
