After voting 4-1 on Oct 1, 2025 to negotiate, Saline Township entered a consent judgment filed Oct 15, 2025 in Washtenaw County Circuit Court allowing the Related Digital / Oracle / OpenAI campus, with $4 million for a farmland trust, $2 million for a community fund, $8 million for fire services, no evaporative cooling and no expansion. A resident's motion to intervene was denied Feb 20, 2026. Gov. Whitmer attended the June 1, 2026 groundbreaking.
